An island in the Indian Ocean off the southeast tip of India, Sri Lanka is about the size of Ireland and is often referred to as the 'Pearl of the Orient'.
Most of the country is flat and rolling although the mountains in the south-central region rise to over 8,000 ft.

- Explore the nearby tea estates and cinnamon plantations
- If you time it right, you could watch the Test Match live (cricket Internationals)
- Go giant prawn fishing at night in a dug out
- Or just watch the wildlife from the verandah and soak up the views!
